By accessing or using Finish Line (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Finish Line is a project management and identity-building application designed to help users complete their projects and become "finishers." The Service provides:

• Project tracking and milestone management
• Identity reinforcement through daily affirmations
• Ideas vault for future projects
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Optional AI-powered features (Pro tier)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier allows one active project with a 30-day time limit. No payment information is required.

4.2 Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription ($10/month) provides:

• Unlimited active projects
• No time limits
• AI-powered features
• Advanced analytics
• Priority support

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless canceled. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Pro features until the end of the paid period.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store in the Service ("User Content"). This includes your projects, milestones, notes, and ideas.

5.2 License to Use Content

By creating User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit and that such content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties
• Distribute spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Remove, circumvent, or disable any security features of the Service

Our AI-powered features (available in Pro tier) are provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated suggestions and content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee that results from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finish Line shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finish Line, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third parties, from and against any losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
